Meet Joe Lowther, CEO of KICK
Kick is a charity transforming young people’s lives through sport, mentoring, and community programs; all rooted in God’s love. KICK’s Christian values guide every action while welcoming young people of all faiths. In 2025, as part of our Gospel Entrepreneurs mentoring network, Joe reflected on how being part of this supportive, faith-filled community has shaped his leadership. He shared how connecting with like-minded leaders helped him see entrepreneurial thinking as a tool for mission, strengthening KICK’s impact in schools and communities. One 24-hour gathering with over 50 Gospel Entrepreneurs proved transformative. Sessions on vision and future-thinking inspired Joe and his team to reimagine KICK’s identity and strategy, resulting in a renewed mission and bold direction for the charity. Personal mentoring with Roy Crowne offered Joe profound insights into leadership and life, including the centrality of family values and combining spiritual guidance with practical leadership. Joe’s experience highlights the power of Gospel Entrepreneurs: mentoring and networks that equip, inspire, and empower leaders to make lasting change in their communities.
