Sarah left school aged 16 and worked in the banking sector for 13 years, latterly as a financial adviser before leaving the world of finance after the birth of her first child.  Whilst her family were young, Sarah started a home furnishings ecommerce business, which enabled her to work from home and still be around for her family, as well as building her business which she sold 7 years later.

Selling the business enabled her to concentrate on the Adullam Programme (www.adullamprogramme.co.uk), a ministry she started at her local Church which gives help and support to those who find themselves on the margins of our communities; whether through mental health challenges, addiction, relationship trauma, loneliness or imprisonment.  The aim of the programme is for each person to develop a full and positive life to fulfil their potential and purpose within the context of a safe community by providing ongoing support, friendship, advice and training.

Over the years Sarah has served on her Church leadership team in various roles and also runs a property letting business.  She lives in a little village just outside Lancaster and is married to Shaun, they live with their dog and a few large breed chickens!  They have two grown up children; Ellie who lives and works in London and Joe who is currently studying in Manchester.
